What is the best fabric for kids' clothes?
100% cotton. Cotton Poplin is crisp and holds its shape for dresses and shirts, Cotton Lawn is soft and light for summer, and Cotton Twill is hard wearing for shorts and pants.
Can I use these prints for nursery bedding and quilts?
Yes. Each design can be printed on a choice of base fabrics, so the same print can make a cot quilt, a cushion and a matching dress.
How much fabric do I need for a child's dress?
About 1 m for a simple dress up to age 4, 1.5 m for ages 5 to 8 and 2 m for ages 9 to 10, at 140 cm wide.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes. Order a 25 x 25 cm swatch of any design on your chosen base to check the colours and feel before you buy metres.
